Simone has been announced as Associate Choreographer on the Australian production of Andrew Lloyd Webber's Love Never Dies for its German premiere season in Hamburg in October. Simone will be taking auditions for the production in London and Hamburg over the coming weeks and will begin full rehearsals in Hamburg from late August. Love Never Dies will open in Hamburg on October 15.
Simone is currently in rehearsals for the live action film of Beauty and the Beast which will commence shooting in London later this month. Simone will be involved in the filming until mid-August. More details about this exciting project and all-star cast will be released shortly.
At the end of last year, Simone was in Prague assisting renowned choreographer, Arlene Phillips, with the exciting, new Break Free advertising campaign for the release of the Gtech AirRam vacuum system. The product has now been released and you can check out the fun, all-dancing, television commercial, along with behind the scenes footage of Simone in action with the cast rehearsals.
Simone took to the stage this week at the London Palladium for the prestigious, Royal Variety Performance 2014. Hosted by Michael McIntyre, this year's Royal Variety Performance, featured such legends as, Bette Midler, Dame Shirley Bassey and Demi Lovato. In the presence of Their Royal Highnesses The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, the star-studded event was held on November 13, and will be screened on ITV in December.
British audiences can catch Simone in the upcoming, Sir Bruce Forsyth's Hall of Fame, television special. Simone features in the show, dancing for acclaimed tenor, Alfie Boe, during his performance of, Volare. This special event was filmed at the London Palladium and will air on BBC One during the Christmas season.
Simone has been busy in Prague assisting renowned choreographer, Arlene Phillips, casting dancers for a new commercial. The commercial will feature 31 dancers and will begin shooting late November. More details to follow when the commercial is released.
Simone is currently in Glasgow working as one of the Choreography Coordinators for the Opening Ceremony of the 2014 Commonwealth Games. This role has reunited Simone with many of the performers and creatives she worked with on the London Olympic ceremonies in 2012. Celtic Park will host the Glasgow 2014 Opening Ceremony on July 23.
Simone has been working as Assistant Choreographer on the musical, Fings Ain't What They Used T' Be, for Theatre Royal Stratford East. Simone has been working on this production with Spandau Ballet's, Gary Kemp and Eastenders, Jesse Wallace. The musical's month-long season will play May 8 - June 8, 2014.
Simone has been involved with a very exciting visual arts project set for the London Hippodrome. Simone worked on the shoot with Teerachai Yaun Thobumrung, under the direction of Thomas D Gray with London-based production company The Gray Circle.
Simone has joined the cast for the upcoming ABC (US) television pilot, Galavant. Billed as a comedy musical fairytale, Galavant, is choreographed by Ashley Wallen and was filmed in Wales. For further information please visit Galavant's website at ABC Studios.
